Whats been keeping us busy at home

We moved July 12. Just two blocks away. The move has consumed almost all our energy.

Our second floor maple floors were refinished before we moved in but I did not like the stain colour. They were redone but it meant we could not use the upper floor for a week and had to double up on the main floor.

Doesnt this photo remind you of the princess and the pea story?


The rooms were filled - how did we ever get so much stuff

Did not take photos of the basement but it was wall to wall boxes. Ian and Devon have made huge progress on our basement and we have all pitched in for the rest, So much work....so little time

Our house was built about 1912. The floor plan is great but the house needs "freshening" ... more work. I'll post our progress.
